今日、いそがしいでしたね。。。今日から、毎月曜日と水曜日に、ｊCSで日本語を勉強します。よかったね！４年前、日本語の勉強が止めました、それ以来、いつも残念でした。

それから、今後は、日本語のために一生懸命に勉強します。今たとえ、毎分は、辞書が使います、でも、一日に、いますせんよ！

Hehe... must have been puzzled and shocked to see this hehe.

I just had my first Jap lesson in 4 years!!! Last time I took my Jap exam was in 2000. My JLPT Level 4. Finally got the time and heart to pursue it back. I hope it doesn't stop after I take my JLPT 3 this year and yes! I am aiming for it! Although if you know japanese, you will know those stuff up there s*cks. Even if you don't know, I am telling you it does.

先生 (Sensei or S) was teaching us some new vocab. One of which was"イスラム教徒”(which stands for Muslim). Then she taught us a few more words not from the list. They are:

ぶっ教徒：Buddhist
キリスト教徒：Christian
イスラム教徒：Muslim
無教徒：Free thinker

This is what happened.

S: Most Japanese belong to Free Thinker.

Man (a.k.a curious student): What about Shinto?

[P/s: Shinto is a Japanese religion that most of us read on websites or japanese travel books that's why we perceive it to be THE Japanese religion.]

S: Eh... No.
When Japanese are born, we are Free thinker. When we get married, we do it in the church, but when we die, we are buried like a buddhist.

All: Hahahah [class erupts into laughter]

S: We are not that serious when it comes to religion.

Whoa. Quite something for a first lesson yah. Something pretty deep also huh. Imagine while at one end of the world some people can espouse to live, die and kill for their religion, on another end of the world there are some people are "not that serious about religion". Well well, religion always a touchy and sensitive topic huh (just like money). I don't really wanna touch on such a spiritual topic on my blog. Just wanna share this with you if you're reading it. A small anecdote. Take it as a story you can share it with others? But well, do think about it for yourself what this anecdote also says?
